Gym Class Hereos - New Friend Request |
| submitted by jeremy.callinan@gmail.com at 10.08.2006 18:25:50 |
| link is to youtube video - hot band, sweet beat, very 'Golden Age of Hip/Hop' feel, mixed with the Roots and every other good hip hop group you could pull your influences from.
Plus, points for first myspace love song (as far as I know). |

| this song used to have Nelly on it (better off now) - how can you beat the Neptunes and Pharrell? You can't. |

| his album goof & liquor is great - with jay-z on it, and real lyrics beyond the typical, one of the best of the year. |

Silly Girl - Murs and 9th Wonder |
| submitted by jeremy.callinan@gmail.com at 10.09.2006 14:59:40 |
| can't beat this guys review:
Murs almost had to drop another album with 9th Wonder. Dude probably doubled his fan base after him and 9th put out “The 9th Edition.” Which helped take Murs out of that kind of abstract Living Legends vibe and made him a hell of a lot more accessible. Murs and 9th return with a full album of all new material once again. “Murray’s Revenge” isn’t the longest of albums clocking in at 40 odd minutes but it’s pretty consistent throughout. I like the whole 60s rock album formula anyway, 10-13 good songs with no skits/mediocre filler. |

Rick Ross - Push It |
| submitted by jeremy.callinan@gmail.com at 10.09.2006 15:28:21 |
| Tattooed with pictures of AK-47s, Miami's six-foot, 300-pound rap figure known as Rick Ross embraced his city's reputation for drug trafficking on his debut single, Hustlin, this song and the album continue the same flavor. |
