De Ambassade – Verloren

‘Verloren’ is like a late night pink Dutch sky after a long day of heavy rain, a sign that a warm summer’s day is just ahead. It will make you sweat tonight. This long awaited follow up 7inch, will be released in the same form as the first: a beautifully designed disco sleeve with cardboard artwork. The vinyl will feature perfect-not-perfect, melancholic yet very danceable tracks. The machines in here take you back to the 80’s, but sound very contemporary nevertheless.

The Him Release Uplifting Single “Oasis” Ft. Sorana

Amsterdam-based production duo The Him have been music-making machines this year, pumping out quality dance tunes left and right. Their high-energy, deep house style continues to build steam and is showcased in both their originals and recent remixes of Martin Garrix and Miike Snow. The Him and vocalist Sorana have come together for their new release, “Oasis.”

Oasis is an ode to one of our favorite songs of all time. Its a song about new love. We love the vocals from Sorana because she has such a unique sound. It actually took us quite a while to finish the track and there was a point when we thought it would never happen but we’re so glad it did. Its definitely one of our favorites yet! – The Him

“Oasis” shows The Him’s versatility in production as they take their upbeat house roots and infuse them with reverberating future bass sounds. What begins as stripped down piano and intricate percussion quickly culminates into an energetic, melodic breakdown paired perfectly with Sorana’s vocals The Him drop the track with sputtering synth chords and a vocal lead melody, giving the tune a bright, nostalgic vibe. Enjoy!
